Mom-Cation 2012

I have a wonderful husband who understands that once a year when my nerves are fried, I need a Mom-Cation! I waited until the last minute this year, but was thankfully able to find a little cottage on the North Shore that was available for the dates I wanted. (The only other option was literally a tree house you had to hike up a mountain to get to!) Last year I took a week break, and saw the kids twice in that time ;-) This year I only took four days, and stayed away the whole time.



In addition to LOTS of relaxing, here are a few other things I did on my break:
ate some shrimp out of a dirty van...


visited the mac nut farm...









saw some pretty stuff...




ate some killer fish tacos!

browsed a little shop with weird stuff...




and found my future dream house...
